We thought we were going to anchor out, but we got a slip on the end of a T-Dock at Midway Marina. We had a wonderful day on the river making it through several locks, no problem. We did have to wait on fellow loopers that were slow to get going at 6:30am. We found our sweet spot at 7kts 1250rpm where we could get 2nm per gallon, wooo whooo! The above picture was taken by a fellow looper we were running with. We had 11 boats in our floating posse. Sunny day with cool 40+ temps in the morning and 70+ temps in the afternoon. It was a fun day on the Tom-Bigbee waterway.
