Day number three, we left Elliott Key for a short 18-mile trip to Dinner Key, where we picked up Tom Vroom. Tom's joining us to help move the boat to Jacksonville.
Once Tom got on board, we headed north past Miami. It was a beautiful day, and I absolutely love seeing Miami. It's absolutely gorgeous with those big buildings and the sunny weather.
We traveled about 27 or 28 miles up the river and anchored out for the night. It was a lovely night on the hook. Welcome aboard, Tom! We're looking forward to the next five days as we head up to Jacksonville.
