Cruising to St. John's River

We left Hammock Beach Marina today and cruised 50 miles towards the St. John's River. It was a beautiful day with very low winds. The tides were with us, so we made some good time!

We hit the St. John's River, which is the main inlet to Jacksonville. We went a couple of miles upriver and then pulled off into a tributary, dropped the anchor, and had an absolutely beautiful night on the hook with no wind. We enjoyed a great sunset and slept like babies.

Tomorrow will be our last day before we hit Lambs Yacht Center, where we'll say goodbye to Tom. Tom will make his journey back home, so thank you, Tom, for a wonderful five or six days on the water and getting us safely to Jacksonville.
