It was a long day yesterday, catching a 5:30 AM flight in Yuma back to Dallas and spending all day at the hospital with Yoli. I got back to the airport for a 9:30 PM flight, arriving around 11 PM in Yuma last night.
Today, it’s all about finishing my dental work and picking up some new reading glasses that I had ordered via prescription last time I was here a couple of days ago. I stopped off this morning around 8:30 to pick up my glasses, then headed over to the dental office for a 9 AM appointment.
I got three implants—actually, it was two implants with a bridge, so three teeth total—and right above it, I had two crowns replaced. Another half day in the dental chair!
When I finished that up, I went over to La Parrilla again and had some more beef tacos and another yummy strawberry margarita. Now, I’m back in my room just hanging out because the next flight back to Dallas isn’t until tomorrow morning at 5:30 AM.
It’s been a long week. I came down here to Yuma on Monday night, flew back on Wednesday, and then came back here Wednesday night. I’m flying home tomorrow morning, Friday morning. It was certainly a week, especially with Yoli having a little mini-stroke. Very busy week! I’m looking forward to a little peace and quiet back home for a week before heading back to the boat on June 22.
