Today, we made our final push from the redwoods to Coos Bay, Oregon. We set up camp at Charleston Marina RV Park with the Escapees group, where we're gearing up for what they call a Crab-a-Rang meetup next week.
They've got about 32 rigs coming in with around 60 people. We're going to go crabbing, have happy hours, socialize, and have a good time with friends we haven't met yet!
We kicked things off with an all-you-can-eat crab feast provided by Kim and Craig. Here's hoping we capture a lot more crab in the next few days!
We also got the first glimpse at the 'plane in a box' where Craig showed off his RV-12iS airplane. They custom-made a trailer to fit his airplane with the wings removed. Hopefully, we’ll get to fly it this week!
