Boat Yoga and New Props at Green Cove Springs

Well, the last five days have been all about boat projects and finishing up at the Green Cove Springs Marina Boatyard. I got my new props on, and all the motor mounts finished. Even the brackets that hold the motor mounts got some love—I sanded them down, removed all the rust, and repainted them. Now they look shiny and new!

I wrapped up aligning the shafts with the transmission, got all my tools cleaned up, and the boat is starting to look like a boat again. It's been a tough five days with what I like to call 'boat yoga' down in the engine room. I'm bruised up, cut up, and I feel like I bathe in hydrogen peroxide every night and take muscle relaxers. But all in all, I got a lot done, and I'm ready to get back in the water.

The goal is to splash the boat on July 2nd and start heading north.
