Today was flight day! We took the "plane in a box" (Trailer) to the airport at Coos Aviation here in Coos Bay. We opened up the trailer, and Kim and Craig began assembling the wings on the plane. It was really cool to watch them put this plane together—a dream come true for them for many years.
Once we got the plane together, Kim and Craig made a trip around with a touch and go. Then I went up with Craig for an extended 30-minute flight down the Oregon coast to Bandon, Oregon, and back. It was a beautiful flight.
