Nothing like a good party with good friends! May 11th was my 66th birthday, and it was a lot of fun celebrating with 35 of our closest friends.
We didn’t cook pizza in the pizza oven. Instead, we cooked a brisket all day, and it really turned out great! We had shredded brisket and shredded chicken sliders, and everyone had a fantastic time.
We played oldies like Chuck Berry's 'Route 66', and the theme of the party was Route 66, if you can't tell that from the pictures. We had a great time and just a wonderful evening in Grapevine, Texas.
