Poncho comes to town, and we finish up some boat work projects. I met Poncho in Tennessee on the Great Loop, and we leapfrogged with him across the Gulf and down to Key West. We spent a couple of months in Key West having fun with friends and Loopers.
This week, though, it's all about boat projects. Poncho actually came to Green Cove Springs Marina after selling his home in Albuquerque. He's now a true nomad living on his 42-foot Nordic Tug!
He stopped by Green Cove Springs Marina, where I had the boat, so he could register his vehicle and get a driver's license. So, he is now officially a Floridian!
Poncho is on his way to Hilton Head to get on his boat and continue his second loop. We hope to join Poncho in the near future, but right now, with June coming up and the rest of May, it's all about boat projects for Yoli and me on Gooder Days.
