Boondocking at Tehachapi Pass

Today, we picked up Yoli at the Albuquerque airport and headed straight to California. Our first stop was Tehachapi Pass. We pulled off Highway 58 at the Pacific Crest Trail, known as the PCT.

The next morning, we hiked a couple of miles on the PCT, and it was really nice. We saw all the windmills up over the hill. It was a fantastic boondocking spot where we enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the sunrise. The cool temperatures, around 55 to 58 degrees, made it an absolutely beautiful day!
